Review on WiFi router Linksys WRT32X, black by Jnis Zels ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, but you can find a better one.

Different pros: 1. There is a full-fledged USB 3.0, you can organize a small file storage. 2. Gigabit ports (I have a set-top box, TV set and GoogleCromecast connected) 3. Operative 512 mb. third-party software and attachments are installed in years! 4. Moderate heating during operation even with a connected USB device Its cons: 2. The work of wifi is perhaps its main disadvantage - both on stock and on alternative firmware (OpenWRT, DDWRT) it cuts speed everywhere. I have a rather noisy 2.4 GHz range, 5 GHz is freer, but even at 5 GHz it does not hold the declared speed, it hangs under the ceiling behind the TV set, which has an aluminum case. As a result, the case works like a screen and the signal does not pass stupidly. Changing the standard antennas to 7dbi did not help much. Overall disappointed for the price. I hung up to test the good old ASUS RT-N16 on the stock latest firmware from ASUS, so it was in the 2.4 GHz range more stable and faster . I didn’t understand at all why I gave 16k. There is no SPF port for such grandmas - in order to plug optics through an adapter. You have to transfer the provider's equipment to a "bridge" or use one port as a trunk. For the price tag above 10k I do not recommend. I will change to Keenetic (Giga KN-1010 / Ultra KN-1810) because it is in fact a "pontor cutter" incapable of simple tasks. Accessory for those who do not understand, but are expensive / rich.
