Review on Kyocera Innovation Ceramic Knife, Multi-Purpose, White by Karen Watson

I got one while on vacation in Japan Bought Kyocera ceramic knife over 10 years ago and really liked it. It broke my heart when it broke 2 months ago. I was thrilled when I saw the same product on Revain and ordered it straight away. Came 19.09. First thing I noticed is that it's thinner than my original and the grip isn't as ergonomic and the quality isn't that good. Although the blade is made in Japan, the knife and handle are assembled in China. Since then I've been using it mainly for cutting fruit/vegetables. Last night (11/11, less than a month and a half) I noticed a small chip. What a big disappointment! I don't know if this is a genuine Kyocera product but the packaging looked good and convincing :(
