Review on ๐Ÿง  LS2 Helmets Assault I Heart Brains Full Face Motorcycle Helmet W/SunShield - Black/Glow, XXX-Large: Enhanced Protection and Style by Rick Bishop

Not the best helmet choice

I was looking for a good fitting helmet with an integrated sun visor for about $200. After a long search in 11 stores, I only found TWO that sat comfortably on my head, so I bought both: LS2 Assault (color: matte aluminum) and Scorpion EXO-T520 (white). I'll let them both, but Scorpion is clearly better. Here's why I don't like the LS2 Assault helmet: 1. The Scorpion EXO-520 comes with a 5 year warranty. LS2 mentions NO guarantees! 2. The Scorpion face shield has multiple latches that keep the face shield open for ventilation. Not LS2.3. The EXO-T520 front and top ventilation actuators have additional settings for partial ventilation instead of full ventilation. Not LS2.4. The Scorpion has an inflatable bladder cheek adjuster. Not LS2.5. Scorpion cheek pads are designed and marked to be detached in an emergency when you are incapacitated. Not LS2.6. I prefer the standard T520 double D rings for mounting. LS2 has a micro ratchet closure.7. Finally, the Scorpion includes a cute paper instruction manual in the box that tells you how to remove the liner, cheek pads and face shield. LS2 includes a card with a scannable QR code for a manual, but the code is invalid and doesn't work. I couldn't find any instructions on their website. Their support team did not answer my calls. After several attempts I got through and was told there was NO guide for US customers! Wow. Conclusion: If I had known all these differences beforehand, I would not have bought the LS2 Assault helmet.
