This coat is beautifully tailored with functional side pockets. The cut is very feminine, so you are guaranteed to make a statement. The lower second layer is decorative and is not sewn in, but sits on top of the tulle layer. It is fully laid out. The buttons at the neck are functional (meaning they match the buttonholes). The fur around the neck is very cuddly. My only complaint has to do with how tall and slim I am: the sleeves of the small size were too short and the shoulders too narrow, but I needed a small one to fit my waist well. A really petite person would have no problem. Note that while this coat has nice deep side pockets in the skirt, it does not have an inner chest pocket. Expect to pet it for a while before wearing it. I ordered red, a nice light color but not tasteless at all.
