No more "Doh!" moments when I realize the ground coffee has leaked through the top of the filter into the pot. These filters are high enough to prevent those pesky soils from escaping. Hooray! One less hassle in my day. I use it in my regular Mr. Kaffee 12 cup coffee maker - when I buy regular supermarket filters (any brand) to go with this very regular coffee maker they are just too short - almost too short. , but it's enough to make some of the most adventurous bottoms jump over the wall. These were the only commercial size unbleached filters I could find in quantities of 200 and not a million. As mentioned, Saran's packaging is a bit odd, but it does the job. This company should buy them in bulk and then repackage them - and I thank them for this service and wish them luck in their business - they have found a niche in the market and are filling it. PS And yes, these are great filters. - They make a great cup of coffee.
