Review on Gila CS78 Glare Control Smoke Film - 36 x 6.5' Window Film, 36-inch x 6.5-inch by Amy Claeys

Bought this for garage door windows in my new home. (I love the look of carriage doors, but if your house faces south, those damn windows can make the garage terribly hot on a summer day!) Check out my garage. Privacy: It helped a bit if the interior lights in the garage were turned off. So for me it serves a purpose. It's definitely not a privacy film, but I don't want the mirrored look (outside) that usually comes with it. Glare control: excellent! There is no glare in the garage at the height of the day like there used to be. Heat reduction: Very good! I don't have a thermometer station, but I bet it's 10 degrees colder than before. Easy installation: great. I didn't purchase their solution as I already had a spray bottle of water and a few drops of Dawn dish soap. I also had a squeegee that I used for another similar installation. It has been running flawlessly for about 2 months now and the garage door has been raised and lowered countless times since it was installed.
