Well everything was great until I had to replace the blade. I've tried a few different ones that claim to work for this. They don't. If Revain or the manufacturer can shed some light on me. I have already tried to contact Manf. and got no answer. If there is a special blade for this magic sharpener, PLEASE let us know and provide it. I just went back to charcoal until I solved this problem. PLEASE HELP! BLADES NEED REPLACEMENT. Many Thanks. I've tried pretty much every "high end" pencil sharpener, both manual and electric. NOTHING other than an Xacto razor and lots of practice will get you good results. I agree with another user that I think the wood in Derwent Pastels is of poor quality as it splits so easily and then breaks the pastel itself. When I received this I was hopeful but not overly excited. IT IS GREAT! I try to use gentle touches, especially with earlier sharpeners, and they still chip and break. It sharpens your pastel pencils. I have three different grades and they all sharpen to a good level of sharpness that doesn't break. I love it so much I've already ordered another one. As for the price. In this case I would say that it is priceless and unprecedented.
