I love this thing, it really makes soldering easier. And the parts on it seem to be good quality, especially for the price, but it there are a couple of issues worth 1 star 1) the base isn't heavy enough to hold a soldering iron so you might need to get a little excited about sticking and gluing onto the board or it will tip over 2) the Clamps are a bit stiff so if you put them on the insulation of the wire they will cut the wire What I did to fix this was attach small pieces of heat shrink tubing to the ends of the clamps to give them some "padding" The ball joints can bend if you twist them too tight and it's hard to know how tight to twist, but if you apply the right amount of pressure it will work great.
