We liked the material the furniture itself is made of, like MDF, it's heavy and durable. However, it breaks a little easily, so check the package upon arrival. I had a few minor blemishes, but it clearly wasn't enough to skip through the return loops and force the company to bear those costs. We made it. The mirror material is a kind of thin material, so it warps around the edges, just like a fun homemade mirror. It also does not tolerate cleaning and is immediately scratched. It's a bit annoying because everything else is so impressive and we bought it because it was real work furniture with a mirror. The price didn't convince me. The built in "wood" part is great, the mirror is terrible and the finish isn't great. But for my daughter - she is in seventh heaven and she will serve her for many years. She is 6 years old and we expect her to use it for her nails and hair at school for a while.
