These are pretty good sheets for the price. First off, I'm not a huge fan of the 1800-thread-count brushed microfiber trick - standard cotton sheets are around 300, and 600 is where the real softness starts. , so it's worded as a tactic on purpose, implying that it's a crazy bunch of luxury hotels that for some reason are only $35. Microfiber is synthetic and is about a third the diameter of cotton, so it's not as breathable and the standard thread count is much higher. (Not just for this brand, it's everywhere now.) However, these sheets are pretty lightweight and not suffocating at all. I'm writing from Phoenix in the summer, it was about 110 last week and I'm still sweating but no more than usual. They are durable and wash well. My set arrived with a small spot of machine grease on the top sheet. (It was left over after washing and smeared when I wiped it down.) I also bought a Full XL size for my standard Full size for some reason and that was a mistake. This size is easily enough to handle a queen on a pillow. I am a mannequin. I'm lazy enough not to ask for a replacement or try to send it back, the sheets are perfectly made and the little stain will be gone. Anyway, he's under my covers, what do I care if I don't even see him? My criteria were: nice color, comfortable enough, doesn't fall apart. It fits everything and the budget. It also appears to resist attracting and holding onto pet hair. 4 stars for my gorgeous neon green sheets.
