Review on 5.5 inch Pink Kyocera Revolution Ceramic Kitchen Knife and Peeler with Enhanced SEO by Tray Smith

The sharpest knife in the drawer

I already had a 5.5 pink knife and I really liked it. This is the knife I carry with me 98% of the time for everyday use and I cook a lot. Sometimes I get in the "zone" and don't use my brain. You CANNOT use a ceramic knife for hard or frozen food. The knife comes with an instruction leaflet that explains in detail the do's and don'ts. I knew better, but I didn't, and the blade broke in a large chunk. It was just my reckless stupidity. I liked this knife so much that I immediately bought this set together with the knife at a better price than I originally spent. As I see it is available in white, black or pink pen. I like the pink handle because it shows up easily in a drawer full of knives and utensils. I'm not chasing him, I want him ready. It is comfortable to hold. The knife has never had to be sharpened in the 5 years of ownership. So unless you try to slice in a frozen piece of ginger like I did, it will last you a long time. Update 8/24/13: I just bought another set in white not because I can't use pink but the price was good at $35 had to get another one; Like potato chips, you can't eat just one. I see that an additional color choice has been added since my last review in 2011, Orange is now the cheapest - it calls my name but I have to resist. Even at $49 having at least ONE is a must, just do it. Then look for good deals and buy an extra one if you can. I also wanted to add that it is packaged nicely too - impressive for a gift.
