Tired of fuses? Would you like to be able to disconnect the battery from your car radio without having to unscrew the terminals and disconnect them by hand? This is the product for you. I was tired of manually disconnecting the battery terminal when installing new components or doing engine work. Turning off the power with this thing is easy. Just connect it between battery and components. Then simply press the switch when you want to stop the power supply. Alternatively, you can connect this thing between the battery negative terminal and the chassis ground wire. The current flows in a circle, so it serves the same purpose in both directions. (Opens in the event of a short circuit.) This 150A circuit breaker will drive stereo systems up to 1800W at 12V before tripping. This is a great product for car audio lovers. This eliminates the need for a large main fuse next to the battery. However, you still need smaller fuses connected to each amp. Excellent product, highly recommended.
