Works as expected after reading the reviews. More expensive than it is worth, but what can you do. The cord is really short - it seems long enough to lift the adapter out of the computer case under the desk and onto the top of the desk. It turned out that this wasn't enough for my needs, so I had to put the computer case on a table and mount the antenna on the wall (handy brackets are included for different mounting situations - a quick picture hanging or a more permanent screw mount). I ended up placing a few different attachment points depending on what network I wanted to connect to. Maybe I'm just not used to a three antenna system yet, but it's very difficult for me to set it up for an optimal signal. You need a program like inSSIDer (or any program that gives actual -dB levels as opposed to a stupid 4-band system). It's not exactly what I was hoping for, but it meets my expectations for the purchase. I plan to hack it soon and make some changes. The wire doesn't seem to have as much shielding as I was hoping, but since I haven't stripped it yet I can't tell for sure. Too expensive for relatively cheap parts, but the choice is limited. This is the best choice for those who need a few extra feet to get their 3-antenna wireless adapter out of the dead zone.
