Used to reinforce a shelf that is in the middle of the wall (on top of the cabinet). We have THICK plaster walls so I had to drill a bigger hole than a regular anchor but trust me this shelf isn't going anywhere! I really like them, but be aware that the "wings" make the hole bigger than usual. but they work with added protection!
