Larger than water shoes but buy +1 size.
Yes, they are too small. But as a shoe for short distances out of the water, they do their job well. As the outsole (which appears to be made from a crocodile-like material) has worn down a bit, traction actually improves significantly, and I found I could navigate wet rocks with confidence on low tide.
