I ordered these 2m cables (two per pack) to speed up charging my device; Charging via USB-C is significantly faster than charging via USB-A. These are quality cables: the strands are rated for 60W (more power than my charger) and the metal end caps connect to metal grommets, which in turn connect to plastic strain reliefs: there's enough gripping surface not to pull. the cable itself (and broken conductors). Cable conductors are rated for 40,000+ bends and encased in a woven nylon jacket that resists cable twisting (and conductor breakage); I expect good durability from these cables. Each cable comes with a flexible cable tie, which is handy for wrapping up excess cable length. The provider's website states that the data rate on the cable is 480 megabits per second, and then states that these cables do not support video output. My interpretation is that the maximum transfer rate of the USB-C specification is over 480 megabits per second (IMO probably high-resolution live video), but 480 megabits per second is sufficient for most applications. The vendor's website also states that these cables have an impedance of 56 kΞ©, which provides over-voltage and over-current protection. Given the USB voltages that exist, I don't understand that 56kΞ© claim (shrug) while referring to my USB-C charger (not included) and USB-C devices (not included) for the Exit over-voltage and over-current protection. However, comparative shopping shows that these USB-C cables are affordable compared to other USB-C cables (especially after including the current 25% off coupon offer).
