Bought to try and make weekly water changes more efficient. Wow, that's all I can say. It's incredibly powerful than I expected and I wouldn't recommend using it for water changes. When used in an aquarium as suggested, it will definitely create a flow. The only problem I had was connecting the hose to the outlet. This tube fits in, but not very well, and needs some jiggling and adjustment to get it to fit properly (I had to fold it to fit the hole and then try to unroll it while it was in the hole - it did works fine). but annoying). There were no instructions, but it's pretty easy. The suction cups are also very good here. I can't count the number of times I've accidentally attached it to something and it holds tight.
