The base of these "goggles" is made of plastic, which is so thinner and weaker than a cup that it's a filled cup that falls over, can't carry over ridiculously easily. This is of course the case with these "glasses" that survive transport. Most don't; Base plastic arrived broken. To complicate matters further, the base isn't a flat piece of plastic resting on a table or other surface like you'd expect from a stemmed drinking glass. Instead, the base sits on a thin rim, leaving just a very crappy outer plastic rim to support the entire unit. Bad design. Bad things. Bad design. You will be disappointed and confused by the design and construction. Buy something else.
