Poor quality is a waste of money
The white in these pencils is both fragile and very hard. The color is so dull that you have to press hard to leave color, which makes the lead break very easily. I have tried these pens on different types of paper. They are completely useless on all, including high quality 100% cotton pastel paper. The only way to leave visible color was to press so hard that I erased the texture of the paper, which is specially designed for pastels. When trying to use it as a highlight (which is the main reason every pastel artist uses white), the base color was completely erased.
