I love this Burt's Bees colored lip balm. I hate lipstick because it's usually toxic, oily and too light. Lipstick always dries out lips and leaves an unattractive shadow when removed. This product is wonderful. It protects and nourishes your lips while adding just a little bit of color, especially for aging lips that kind of appear whiter over time, just like hair. It comes in a variety of colors; You can experiment to see what suits you best. I don't like the darkest ones but this color is my favorite. When I wear light colors I use peony and there is quite a peachy color although it doesn't suit me. They come out with new colors all the time, but luckily you can still buy the ones you like that keep them in stock. It does not take long; if you want a long-lasting lipstick, you can use a natural lipstick and then apply it to lip balm. I don't care that it doesn't last long. I just put it back on after eating or drinking as it will come off anyway by wiping my lips clean. It takes quite a bit to cover and while a little pricey, one of these lasts about a year. I have four colors and alternate between them. I always keep one in my purse and highly recommend this product. You can often buy them together on sale and get a great price.
