Absolute contentment with the tool. I cranked up the tunes and couldn't help but crack a grin. The first time this happened to me was after I got Sound Link III. The headphones produce a full, rich, and balanced sound. The vocal is bright and clear, the midrange is solid without being sagging, and the bass is springy and not overly prominent (both of which I dislike). The passive noise isolation methods are adequate, but not suitable for this application (for this, take with noise reduction for a price 2 times more). The quality of the source is not an important consideration. The margin on volume is not small, but it's not big, either. When I compared the Bose's sound quality to that of lesser headsets (the Samsung Level U and pro, and the Sonu NWZ-WS615), I found that I preferred the latter two.
