the thing is ok, the material/body is a bit soft/rubber plastic so it flexes a bit when you try to attach it to the bike. My biggest concern is the material: the molded cap band feels inadequate as it can fail over time, causing the USB port cap to be lost. The power cord is long enough to reach the power source on your bike. It maintains the correct voltage on the USB ports. The ad says it should be disconnected from the battery when not in use. THAT is correct as this thing completely drained my battery in 2 weeks. So have a mechanic on the battery or run the engine to keep the battery charged. There are comments that this thing draws no current when not in use/or less current than the battery drain rate, I listened to them and found out the hard way that this isn't true. Maybe the circuit board is defective?
