This product is designed to replace the leash and plastic hook that attaches to the door hinge. This was the main piece I needed as I needed to replace a plastic hook that broke at the original line that attached to the door hinge. However, the roller assembly did not match the early 2000's Kitchen Aid OEM #KUDP01ILBT2. The original reel assembly had a plastic cam lock on top and a thru-bolt on the lower reel. This part has only one screw that tightens the plastic cam at the top of the assembly. The wheel broke off after 2 surgeries with a new part so I had to reinstall the original reel unit. Luckily our role setup was fine.
