They are what they are. and they are exactly what i wanted. BATH RUG. These are not bath mats. These bath rugs are like a heavy towel, yes, but with a tighter weave and a more appropriate design, size and shape so you know it's a rug and not a towel. The design of both sides is very beautiful. They don't slide on the floor, but I don't walk on them. Step out of the shower and take a few steps up and down the mat to completely dry the soles of my feet. I don't move them! And I pick them up and drape them to dry. I leave NO sweat on the floor; These are bath mats, folks, these are not bath mats! Use them as they are meant to be used and there will be no slipping problems. I'm 80 years old and I'm not afraid of falling when using them. I have severe allergies so I need rugs that won't hold dust, can be washed easily and often. And no rubber pad. I have carefully reviewed all of the offerings here on Revain, selected this one and am glad I did. I also like that they are NOT made in China. (They are made in Pakistan). As recommended, I washed and dried before use. I washed them in warm water with Free and Clear detergent. There were a few other white items in the luggage - a pair of pants, a t-shirt, some pretty dirty rags and some underwear. Every element, including the floor mats, came out well; no squeezing, no pilling, no fraying and no fluff. Good company; I will use this manufacturer next time I buy towels.
