.You might be a little disappointed. I'm not a Yeti, but I'm a hairy guy. I had my last trimmer for about 3 years before deciding it was time for an upgrade. The vertical body trimmer is what drew me to Remington. The body trimmer blades and functions work great. They are sharp and actually come in FOUR (not 3) different lengths if you count the bare trimmer. However, it's the protection that knocks the whole package from 5 to 4 stars. The combs are way too thick. My chest hair grows to around 2.5-3 inches when I don't trim it. I literally had to "brush" the body trimmer back and forth over small areas to trim everything. Hair instead of cutting, but I just kept rubbing until he finally leveled the field. NOW you have 3 different heights to choose from with the guard on, BUT if you remove the guard you can actually use the trimmer yourself. If you look closely, you'll notice that the fixed blades that touch your skin are a little different than the battery-powered blades. Let them know I love this feature! Although I've trimmed my chest hair to about 1/4" I like my "bottom half" (winks) to be bare at 5 o'clock the shadow. The Body Trimmer with NO GUARD does the job just fine. No nicks, Scratches or cuts unless you dig it on less smooth surfaces In the future I'll probably use a chest protector and a trimmer for everything else You can't be too picky about a body trimmer when the whole package is under $20 lies.
