Review on πŸ”Œ Braun BT 3241 Black Hair Trimmer by Aneta Szewczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is average, I'm not sure it's worth the money.

The first impression of the trimmer is "what a cool device for such a price!" When unpacking and turning on for the first time, this reaction arose. Stylish design, quality of materials, assembly, dimensional buzzing and convenience, information content of the settings are really impressive. Impressions are complemented by a rich bundle of goods: here are a couple of different "nozzles for some reason", and solid packaging, and brushes for cleaning, and the ability to rinse the entire device with water (after washing, it is strongly recommended to dry the device in a natural way - put it aside until it is turned on for the drying time) . Also, the manufacturer "crams" a newfangled "vest" razor with five blades into this really low cost (I suspect that for advertising trial purposes, because consumable blades with five working surfaces are not cheap, they are not included in the kit, only one, on the machine). However, when compared with a similar device from Philips, which I used for about 6 years (since 2022) before buying the one I am writing about, which at that time cost about 4,500, the quality, and especially the speed of shaving, leaves much to be desired . The narrow blade shaves slowly and rather poorly, dozens of movements are needed to shave a certain area of \u200b\u200bthe beard, a strongly overgrown stiff beard in general, I think, it is even more problematic to shave (I haven’t tried it, though). Yes, Philips could not be washed, it was all plastic and did not make such an aesthetic impression as Braun, but a banal purge of the machine solved all problems, the machine was unpretentious and efficient. So, I give this device three points. For those who need to trim something or shave without attachments, or, for example, cut hair in the nose, armpits, etc., etc., and others like them, I can recommend, in principle, boldly. In general, let's just say, not for a large shaving area, especially when shaving speed is important. Copes with the rest of the tasks, in principle, with a bang. Have a good mood!

Pros
  • Build quality, nice design, quality materials, number of modes and settings, equipment, compactness, price
Cons
  • Narrow blade, inefficient in terms of shaving speed, requires a large number of strokes
