Received today. I immediately started knitting a baby blanket. I was a little worried about bad reviews but there were no serious issues. Slight splitting, but that happens with most 4-ply threads. This yarn breaks out of the middle of the skein and one of the three skeins immediately becomes tangled. That's why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. But instead of panicking and pulling, I dug my fingers into the strand until I felt the tangle. I carefully pulled out the whole ball. So the tangle was still quite loose. I was able to unravel it quickly and easily. This yarn is soft and has a beautiful sheen. I don't have enough for my project, but leftover yarn from five years ago fits almost perfectly. My duvet has two threads knitted together so one thread from the old cache and one from the new hides this very slight color difference. Of course this yarn is cheaper at the local store but only in a few colors, not what I wanted. I will definitely order from Revain again.
