I bought these because I have curly hair and satin or silk pillowcases keep it from straightening. I didn't want to pay for silk so I tried them as an alternative. I love her! I get very hot at night (hot flashes!) and these pillowcases don't make me sweat. They arrived unscented but I still washed them on the gentle cycle first and hung them to dry. They wash well, dry VERY quickly and hair is still curly and soft in the morning. If you don't want to pay for silk, feel free to buy them - great price and quality. One star deducted because I ordered a queen and it seems too big to me. I think I could get a standard pillow for my queen but since the price is the same it doesn't matter I guess.
