Review on πŸŒͺ️ Miele Blizzard CX1 Pure Suction Graphite Grey Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner by Amber Bennett

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is a great vacuum cleaner, but I don't recommend it.

… except real gears (that is, people well versed in their mechanical gadgets) who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Explanation: The commercial for this vacuum cleaner shows someone pressing the orange button on the dustbin and, bingo, the dirt ends up in the dustbin. Well it's true. But what they don't mention is that besides the main dust collector there are at least THREE filter/mesh gizmos that you need to keep an eye on and empty or clean: 1. "Filter Cone". This is a coarse pre-filter that definitely reduces the suction power of the vacuum cleaner if it becomes clogged. To access it you have to remove the main dust canister and then pull the handle, which will release the filter cone that is located in the dustbin. After cleaning my house once (a medium sized dog inside), this 'filter cone' was wrapped in dog fur and desperately needed cleaning. It's ok, you just use your hand to remove the hair and fluff that wraps around it. Uh, you could wear rubber gloves before emptying the dustbin if there's a chance that cone might need cleaning. 2. Next comes a so-called "filter frame". A strange name for a small box in a dust collector. This small box simultaneously collects coarse dirt on the outside and very fine dust on the inside. This orb doesn't look like it needs to be emptied every time I vacuum (and it's even hard to tell if it needs to be emptied because it's covered in dust/dirt). That's good, because getting the crate out of the bin is a real agony. There's a thumb-sized spot you can press to remove it, but it won't move. I had to use a long thin flathead screwdriver to get to the trash can, where a latch holds the drawer in place. Remember that all of this takes place in a dirty dump. And be very careful with this screwdriver not to break the latch.3. The last filter is called "fine filter". That is interesting. He lives in his department behind a trash can the size of a small thermos with a handle to pull it out of the vacuum cleaner. When using the vacuum cleaner, you may need to press and hold the "Clean" button on the top of the vacuum cleaner from time to time. This starts a special stepper motor that shakes the "particulate matter" filter; loose dirt on it should fall to the bottom of the container that contains the filter. Then every six months you need to remove the jar, pour water into it, shake it, pour it out, and then leave the filter. Dry for 24 hours. So it is obvious that the vacuum cleaner does not work all day. You know what I mean when I say this vacuum is geared? How many people want to put this in their vacuum cleaner? It took a long time to read the manual to figure everything out. It seems like the manufacturer doesn't really want you to realize how important it is for this vacuum to work properly, so instead of saying STEP 1, STEP 2, STEP 3, they just throw cleaning information here and there in the manual But of course, Miele knows that if the owner doesn't follow all the steps at least once in a while, the owner doesn't know why, and ends up complaining online or to his friends, that the vacuum cleaner isn't working properly anymore. . I would give the management one star; it is no better than the ones translated from Chinese. I really appreciate the work Miele engineers have done on this item. It seems like an almost impossible task to pick up all sorts of junk with a 60-mile suction vortex and somehow keep all that junk in the car without a bag filter. It is definitely the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. It's quiet and does an excellent job of removing dirt from carpets and floors; definitely a keeper for me. But don't think it will be as easy to maintain as it was in the old days when you just took out a full bag and slipped in another.
