Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Durable and Powerful DEWALT DWE4887 2 Inch 40mm Grinder for Efficient Grinding Tasks by Danny Poulin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good so far.: Grinders

My device is "Made in the USA with world class materials". I'm interested in the 1-1/2" diameter because I'm trying to cut out the lower control arm bushing on my Ford pickup. The bolt in the bushing is stuck and it will require major surgery in a confined space to clear the bolt to loosen and the guard would make it very difficult to get in there to make a cut so I wanted a 1-1/2" section circle and am leaning towards the Lenox 1972914 MetalMax. This wheel is steel with a diamond inlay on the rim, and this material seems to be more durable than some of the compounds used in other wheels, I read somewhere that the lenox wheel is limited to around 10,000 rpm, but another review of the wheel's specs shows, that it is capable of speeds in excess of 40,000 rpm Robert Hart's helpful answer as to why it says "1-1/2" in the grinder description means I don't use a guard to cut n must. It was real terminology training for me, since the terms "mandrelโ€, "mandrelโ€, "shankโ€ and "colletโ€ were used freely in advertising and discussion literature.
