Check them carefully, there are no threads on the output side!?!

I have 2 water heaters, one started leaking through the P/T valve so I wanted to change both valves. One of the 2 I ordered was unthreaded on the outlet side of the valve. Looks like he skipped that step in production. I had to run to a big store for a replacement as I already had the old one when I discovered this. Therefore, carefully inspect the valves before disassembling anything on your water heater.
