Bought this belt because it was the classic version of the sliding band belt. The buckle is solid and well made and the mechanism on the inside of the buckle that is used to lock the ratchet to the inside of the belt seems like an ingenious way of keeping the belt in place. Unfortunately a design flaw. The latch mechanism on the inside of the buckle will not fit the latches on the inside of the belt, rendering the belt unusable.
