Review on Enkay 150 Carded Polishing Compound by Fred Griffin

I was just looking for steel polishing but wasn't sure so I'm ordering this kit. When I received it I realized I only needed black. I recommend that if you want to polish a specific metal, you only buy the polishing rod you need and not the complete set. Even on Enkay's website it wasn't clear which color refers to which metal. So I bought three extra sticks that I don't need right now, so my estimate is low. Sticks are easy to use, but you will need a buffing pad. As other commenters have pointed out, it's a stylus made of a hard, waxy substance, and you apply it directly to the polishing wheel as it spins and polishes the part. The image of the item being polished had a very rusty handle from an old southern lathe. You can still see some rusting but Enkay's black stick and buffing wheel removed the rust and it has polished well and now has a nice shine.
