Review on 🏍️ ILM Full Face Motorcycle Street Bike Helmet - Removable Winter Neck Scarf, 2 Visors DOT (L, Matte Black) by Mike Carter

ILM helmet sizes are perfect for me. They fit well and are very comfortable. I shave my head and hot spots can be an issue, I have no problem with ILM helmets. The quality is acceptable for the price. You get 2 visors, clear and tinted (wish there was a case for extra storage) and the handy liner snaps into place so it can be removed for cleaning. My only real complaints are that one of the seams on the comfort balaclava is not sewn, the foam is showing, and the balaclava shell stretches when I take the helmet off. For the price I can live with that until I can afford a higher quality helmet. Test report 11/08: This helmet probably saved my life. On November 4th I was hit by a delivery truck. Although I escaped without serious injury, my head hit the side of the van and the sidewalk, and I slid a good 5 feet, back of my head on the ground. While it wasn't a high speed (30-40 mph) collision, it was enough to either kill me or cause serious permanent damage. This helmet remained intact throughout the accident and also. I was seriously planning to spend money on a better quality helmet, but now that money is being spent getting my bike back in rideable condition. I will replace the helmet I was wearing with the same ILM model. Update 2 December 18th: As mentioned above, the helmet I was wearing at the time of impact has been replaced with the same model (this one). The quality appears to be the same or better and all accessories (clear and tinted visor and neck pouch) were included. The only difference I see between the two is the placement of the logo on the helmets, the old helmet had it on the back, the new one on the front. Another great helmet at a great price.
