That's a real bargain! Pencil sharpener, the same one we had in the office 45 years ago. Powered by 110V, it has real functions (rotating steel knives) and additional functions such as pencil width adjustment, push-button knife cleaner and tip adjustment. The suction cups keep it securely in place. Works great with Prang crayons (Prang has been around for 60 years - always buy Prang crayons). I don't need these baby sharpeners anymore! The extra $18 is worth it, especially since I threw 2 crappy $14 sharpeners in the trash because once you sharpen 2 pencils in them, they're useless. You only have to buy this once. For your child at school? I'm sure there's an outlet somewhere in this room. Or send him to school with this as "his" (he will make many friends); or let him give it to the teacher - a report card for all five for sure.
