I like the overall stylish look of the set. The carafe is heavy and feels solid. It has plastic around the stopper neck which I would rather not have. If you push the stopper all the way down, it's very difficult to remove without spilling. He doesn't need the plastic part. All glasses arrived in good condition. They are quite thin and not heavy. They are thinner than my other not-so-priceless massagers that cost less. It was a flash purchase and at forty bucks I still feel like I paid too much. However, it is a unique looking set and functional. I just won't cry if someone breaks a glass.
