3 of 4 I ordered, just pull like that. I understand they're not meant to "stop" thieves and they're supposed to hold things together, but I didn't even bother to pull hard. I wanted to use this to protect my drone body and laptop in the car while roaming the shops during the day, but I'm not rusting one that isn't broken at all. At the moment, time is not even worth turning back. Anyone who uses it to hold a bag or luggage fastened to a chair at the airport will be rudely awakened when a passer-by simply grabs his things and runs away. Don't trust them, and if you already have them, test them by attaching the lock to the loop and pulling.
