I had a problem charging the original charger for my Dyson and the replacement Dyson charger was too big. So I gave it a try after it went on sale, and in fact it charges exactly as if the original had been fried. I would like to point out that the original charger was not to blame, but me. I was using an outlet directly above the heater and the charger got too hot while charging. I now use this charger in an outlet that is not near a heat source and it works like a charm.
