They are very easy to install and worth every penny. Our new house design had a closet door that would hit appliances, walls, etc. The builder told my wife they could fix it by installing tiny wires to limit the opening and for the price of nothing less! We both thought the cables weren't aesthetic. After much searching I found that these limiters work with our Blum hinges. Installation was very easy and they work great. No more knocking on adjacent surfaces. You DO NOT need to remove the cabinet door, and you can attach the clip hinge by hinge while the door is still attached. In addition, a clip does not have to be installed in every door hinge. You can just install on a loop. Essentially, you're removing the screw holding the hinge clip from the frame. Then "close" the hinge that is still attached to the door. Then insert the limiter. I found I could easily hold it in place with the tip of my thumb. While holding it, "open" the hinge by extending your thumb or forefinger. Open the hinge fully and you will feel the stop click into place. Now attach the clamping part of the hinge to the frame again and you're done. The entire process takes less than two minutes.
