Review on πŸ“€ Enhance Your Disc Organization with Memorex Jewel Case Inserts - 50 Pack by Dan Bobbert

Another replacement for a spare insert but good for custom CDs/gifts

The Memorex brand offers great technical support and of course this product is great for two reasons. Firstly because it is easy to use. A CD cover that is missing a cover can be easily inserted into the blank template software on the Memorex website and you can create a cover that functionally replaces the missing original cover in the jewel cases for your CD collection. Where it gets difficult - if almost impossible - is to create an inset print on the back. But if you want to quickly and quickly pop the cover and insert it into the shell, then this is the product. Instructions for creating a cover that looks decent or presentable for retail are very stingy, if not at all. One reason is that 99% of all retail CD cases and jewel case inserts are printed on glossy paper, not the paper that comes with that product. However, the Maxell product is on matte paper. This requires attention to detail when choosing your inkjet printer's settings, as you want to use the amount of ink that would normally be sprayed onto a matte greeting card, for example. If you use the wrong setting, you can often mess up the insert by using too much ink and creating a "wavy" effect in the graphic, ditching your intentionally perfect effort. So do a few test runs before making a final copy - or at least expect to use 4-5 to get used to the product if you're making a cover for the first time. The pre-printed yet pre-punched sheet format is superb. However, there are a few tips to keep in mind when removing the cover. As the manufacturer states, to get a reasonably clean cut of the 8.5" x 11" sheet, you'll need to fold over the seams that need to be ripped. You won't get a seamless cut like Avery premium business cards, for example, but you'll get an acceptably clean cut if you follow this rule. Also, be careful not to tear the perforations on the back. that should be where the creases are. I did it on the first sheet and I had to redo it! The software allows you to line up the different edges of the original cover to the template itself, but as with any printer, you need to make sure your printer lines up properly with the paper so there are no overlaps. My advice: zoom in on the original image a bit (easy if you have basic image editing software skills) so you can be sure you have a solid artwork with no white fringes on top, bottom or sides. This requires some setup - it's not as easy as dragging and dropping and printing. All this to say that this product - software and supplements - is more than suitable to create gift CDs. The intuitive software guides you through the process of creating covers with custom or default background images, as well as placing track listings on inserts. In fact, the software is so useful that I am considering using the software with my own sheets obtained from another paper supplier and then cutting the design myself from a standard sheet. In short, this product is suitable to replace valuable covers. CDs at low prices for retail sale or for a faceless CD in a new case for your personal collection. But if you're looking for perfection in recreating a quality cover from a major record label, look elsewhere. Alternatively, if you are creating your own CDs for gift wrapping or making DVD-ROM cases for custom projects - business or personal - this would be a great product. For example, creating a professional portfolio or personal media storage cases would be two great use cases for this product. Since I have almost a hundred of these sheets, I will go through them. But since I have clients who demand near-retail perfection from their purchases, I have to search diligently for a product that retains more of that particular aesthetic. cheaper than the outlets where I saw them locally. And again, if you're using them to store personal information, homemade products, or whatever, they're excellent. However, they offer the discerning and discerning customer a substitute product which, when printed on a low-resolution printer, can even appear, dare I say, vulgar. But with Revain Prime deals and great shipping, I'm not throwing stones at retailers. - I just want to let consumers know that if you're looking for what I've been looking for - you need to replace the cover art with a major record label aesthetic, you'll need to look around the market a little more to find the right one .
