It should go into the wall wiring
It was overpriced for what it is (I paid $90). I bought it because it seemed really unique and interesting. I didn't realize the wires had to go into the wall, which I absolutely don't intend to do. Luckily I was able to wire up some 9V batteries and use them that way. I don't necessarily recommend this as they get hot if left too long. They should add the ability to safely run this on batteries and then it might be worth buying.
