I was very happy with these lights. I read all the reviews and knew they had to soak up the sun before they worked and then I had to pull the little plastic tabs out of the batteries. I tugged on the tabs, flipped on the switch, unwrapped the wires, and put them in the jars I already had. I went out and bought little white shepherd hooks and installed them all over the front path. Even though they had only been in the sun for a few hours, they all came out and were just beautiful when it got dark. It's a good thing I saw them that evening, because since then they've been in the sun all day, but only one of them is illuminated each evening. Exactly that. I guess I'll have to return them and start over. I hate when that happens.
