Goes well with Hampton Bay AC-552 and Mounting Tips

This goes perfectly with my Hampton Bay ceiling fan model AC-552. Four key points that will make life easier for other do-it-yourselfers. 1) In my fan model, it was in the "Light Kit" on the bottom of the fan. You may be able to remove the lighting kit without removing the entire fan from the ceiling and semi-disassembling the motor like I did. :) 2) Pay attention to the soft double sided tape on the old capacitor. In my photo, the new capacitor is on the left and the new one is on the right. You should put something on top of the new capacitor, something like that. This will help the new capacitor stick to the case and not rattle. 3) Before disassembling, take a picture of where the 5 wires go. 4) Find these two titles on YouTube to decide if you need this product. And once you understand that you need it, how to install it. 5 ceiling fan noises and their causes to help you fix your fan. How to replace a condenser in a ceiling fan. Much luck!
