I bought this fan as an exact replacement for the Sunon SP100A fan in an old but useful (because of a very compact) Pelonis Ceramic Honeycomb heater. The plain bearing of the original could still rotate freely, but became very noisy after many hours of operation (over 2.5 decades). The exchange was relatively easy. Comparing the fans, it turned out that the new one isn't exactly the same - the old fan housing appeared to be steel and had thicker flanges. The frame of the new fan is made of aluminum or zinc alloy and has thinner flanges. The old fan had 10-32 threaded holes on the unmarked side for mounting. The new fan holes were unthreaded, but they were slightly larger than a 10-32 (#21) tap, so I just cut them without drilling. Otherwise, all measurements taken into account were the same and it fit perfectly after tapping. Best of all, the heater with the new fan is quieter than ever, even compared to back then, so I'm very happy.
