This is very practical for hygienic reasons.

I use them for guests in all our washrooms. We had people working on our house, painting, renovating, etc., and we let them use our bathroom. It is obvious that their hands are dirty, so it also makes sense not to use our towels. They're perfect - big enough to dry your hands and strong enough not to fall apart.
