I used this lens extender on a Lumix FZ1000 camera. It's fairly easy to attach/remove the extension to the lens, even when I'm on a hike and carry a macro lens in my pocket. However, I have a hard time telling when the image is actually in focus! I often find the image sharp only to return home to find the details blurred, defeating the purpose of the lens. To be honest, it's not necessarily the fault of the macro lens - it *could* be a problem with the camera lens, or it could even be my eyes. I don't know how to answer this question. In any case, I solve this problem by taking a few slightly blurry shots and usually getting at least one excellent one - proof that Raynox (and the camera itself) can focus sharply! In any case I like Raynox and will probably also buy a DCR-250 for higher magnification (although I suspect this will exacerbate the focus problems). I definitely recommend this lens for advanced macro photography.
