They do NOT contain any electronics to actually work. I thought the red part was a self-contained electronic element, but it's a blank piece of plastic with no electronics. So buyers beware. This kit only fixes cosmetic issues with your key. He won't start your car. This way you can get in the car and turn on the ignition. but no electronics. The car will not start. Pretty messing around and feeling ripped off.
