I've been using this knife for about 7 years at the bar counter cutting side dishes. It took a minute to get used to the extra 1/2 inch it has over the standard bar knife, but now it's the perfect bartender knife in my opinion. Very sharp, holds the edge very well. The extra length makes it easy to slice an orange, for example, and leaves a perfectly even cut. The flat part of the handle prevents the knife from rolling away and the blade on the board prevents accidental blade stripping. Small nicks are a much bigger problem when you're just cutting citrus.
