I got this duvet for a ridiculously low price. (I can see the price has more than doubled since I bought it.) I really can't believe how good this is for the price I paid. I don't think there was that much demand for down fillers in August, luckily for me. The cotton is soft and the filling is fluffy (but not heavy). I bought this with the intention of using it in a duvet cover, but the damask stripe pattern is so beautiful it would look downright dainty if someone decided to use it without it. Since it's still warm here in Southern California (even though it's October) I haven't used it extensively yet. But in December I think I will be even happier to receive it.
