I've noticed strange cooling system symptoms. a sweet smell after the ride and obvious rust in the expansion tank and under the radiator cap. So I flushed the system with water and found that the leak stop product was used with copper flakes and small pieces of fiberglass. He must have hooked up an old heatsink and the plastic end caps blew up when tested. So this radiator was ready for shipment the next day and arrived just after lunch. I also ordered a new expansion tank. It bolts to the hood with regular screws, no problems, the hardware is perfectly sized. I had to tighten the drain cock, it was screwed in loosely. There are also some really cool insert nuts to hold the fan cover in place and they are metric threaded. I was able to find enough in the basket for various bolts to hold it up. For my fan shroud I had to lengthen a screw hole to line it up. I tested the pressure with a valve stem and a digital tire pressure gauge. At 17psi I found 3 leaks on the heater core hoses, nailed these guys and in 10 minutes he only lost 0.2psi. So looks 10/10, features 9/10, performance 10/10, price 10/10. The local parts store only sells plastic end caps at a higher price. no not a pipe dream.
